Privacy statement
This statement explains what CPT Converter does with your data. The short version: by default your sounding never leaves your computer.
Your soundings stay local
Reading, digitizing and exporting all happen inside your browser. The scan or GEF file you open is not uploaded and is not seen by us. Close the tab and it is gone.
Only if you create an account
An account is optional and only needed if you want to keep soundings. If you create one, we store:
- your email address, so you can sign in;
- the soundings you deliberately save, as GEF text with the name you give them;
- when a sounding was saved or changed.
We use Firebase (Google Cloud) for this. Authentication and storage run through that service, with Google acting as processor. Your data is not sold and not used for advertising.
Staying signed in
So you do not have to sign in on every visit, the tool keeps your session in your own browser's storage (IndexedDB, falling back to localStorage). That session stays until you sign out. To remove it, sign out or clear the site data in your browser.
What we do not do
There are no third-party trackers, ad networks or analytics cookies on this site. No cookie banner is needed because only functional storage is used: your language choice and, if you sign in, your session.
Your rights
You can view, rename and delete your saved soundings at any time from your account. To have your account and all associated data deleted, or to ask what data we hold about you, get in touch via constructiehuis.nl.
